Ring Entrance Description:
- "Hysteria" skips the intro and jumps straight into song, blasting out through the PA system. Shannon, Cassidy and Maverick slip out from behind the curtain, recieve a thunderous ovation from the capacity crowd. The two girls walk on down the ramp a few paces in front of an excited Maverick. He's noddiing in approval, admiring the view. Both girls wait at the end of the aisle, turn to face a smiling Maverick. He heads up the steel steps, enters the ring via the middle rope. He takes off his hoody, the two girls climb up onto the apron, kiss his respective cheeks. Maverick hands Shannon his hoody as they both step down. He leans on the top rope, arrogantly, waiting for his next victim.

Alternative Entrance Description:
- The guitar riff from the beginning of "Hysteria" filters through the high powered speakers. The crowd rise in unison, as they anticipate the arrival of Maverick. Red strobes come on, scan the crowd. Drum beat, as the song hits the 15 second mark. Blue strobes come on, scan the crowd. Finally the song kicks in after a burst of pyro that lights up the stage in the shape of the letter M. The noise from the fans reaches feaverpitch. A spotlight comes on, shines high above the M shaped pyro, that still burns bright. Maverick is slowly lowered down from the rafters on a small steel platform, just wide enough for both of his feet
to stand on. The building literally shakes as Maverick stops, hovers above the M. The star throws both arms theatrically into the air as another burst of pyro shoot into the air from either side of the stage, white lights illuminate the sides of the ramp, like a runway. Maverick then shoots off along a zipline towards the ring as cameras flash frantically, eventually coming to a stop, unbelievably on the apron. He unclips his safety harness and then enters the ring as the strobes cease and the arena lights come back on. Maverick stands in the center of the ring, posing for pictures as he awaits his opponent.

History: Wade Deveraux was born in Johannesburg, 12th January, 1978. His father had left his native France to set up his own clinic in a poverty stricken part of Johannesburg. Mrs.Dalton had been sent out to Joburg on an assignment. Her editor wanted a story that would sell him papers, grip an entire nation, a world. The pair met one sunny afternoon and the rest as they say is history. Life in South Africa wasn't easy for the Deveraux family. With the constant threat of black on white violence, they spent most of their time out there stepping on egg shells and loking over their shoulders'. When Wade turned 6 his mother and father decided to move away, get out while they still could. Their destination; America. The family had left the violence, politics and poverty behind them. Theire new home?...New York.

Not every kid liked school and Wade was no exception. He hated the place with a passion. Sitting inside some classroom and listening to some snotty nosed teacher wasn't his idea of fun. At the age of 8 he had dropped out of school and was taking Hapkido classes. He didn't completely abandon his schoolwork though, his parents hired a home tutor. Wade's Hapkido lessons were paying off. The kid was a natural and soon his new love was taking up all of his time. Hapkido was a way for Wade to express himself, let all his anger and frustration out. He hadn't wanted to come to America but he had no choice. His parents had spoken.

Asia, Europe, South America, he managed to travel everywhere in his childhood. Hapkido had given him the chance to view the world, see the sights and different cultures. He'd also managed to acquire a helluva lot of trophies, first place of course. At the age of 14 he'd been sent to a correctional facility after beating a mugger almost to death. Wade was protecting a girl from three knife weilding youths. Two got away, one wasn't so lucky.

Two years later, he left the States and headed for England. Arrived on Merseyside, Liverpool, no job, no prospects, no clue. He saw an advertisement in the "Liverpool Echo" newspaper. Big Al's wrestling camp, back open and looking for new students. Wade hadn't been a huge wrestling fan but he had followed it in the States to a certain extent. Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Jimmy Snuka, he know about those guys and a few others.

He spent the best part of two years with Big Al at his wrestling school before heading to Blackpool to compete for a guy named; Tony Marlow. Tony had his own little wrestling company, Marlows Wrestling Allstars or MWA as he liked to call it. The shows would take place at the top of the Blackpool tower in front of one hundred and sometimes two hundred people a night. It was fantastic but his passion for wrestling was fading fast, he wanted a change. Things were getting stale.

After leaving Tony he headed to Yorkshire, Leeds to be precise. He had originally gone there for the peace and tranquility of the countryside but ended up taking all the various tests and becomign a member of the Yorkshire Police. In just under eighteen months, he'd shot straight to the top of the ladder and was recommended by the head of the Yorkshire department to head down to London. He joined the plane clothes force down there, also known as CID. The surroundings and change of job were drastic, but he enjoyed it.

By now he was 23 years old and he was working for British Intelligence, M-I5. Having no wife, kids or girlfriend, Wade had saved a lot of money over the years and this had allowed his bank account to store a hefty sum of money. That was when Wade decided to buy up various properties in England. He loved the place and wanted to have homes scattered throughout the
country. A year after buying up different homes up and down England, he had gone international, so to speak. Places in Argentina, Norway, Brazil, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand. He returned to the states at the age of 26 to work for the Central Intelligence Agency better known as the CIA. He also used some of the cash to open up his own nightclub in Los Angeles, California. Club-X.

Wade ecountered numerous dangers and terrorists during his time with the CIA but luckily he had never been shot. Whilst a federal agent, he was responsible for the apprehension and incarceration of 8 of the FBI's Most Wanted., 15 Known druglords, 4 Mafia Bosses and a staggering 83 Terrorists. Now 29, he lives in Pearl City, Hawaii with his two girlfriends (Yes, two!) Shannon & Cassidy. In between trying to satisfy both girls, Maverick also dedicates his time to LWF aswell as selling his services to the highest bidder as a freelance agent. He hasn't seen or heard from his family since he left for England at the tender age of 16.

Hobbies/Intrests: - Maverick is a guy who likes most things in life but is partial to the following;

* Busting a move in Club-X (Likes to show the younger generation that his moves are still "The Shit")
* 70's & 80's Music
* Hapkido

* Flavoured Noodles
* Asian Movies
...And of course, girls, girls and more girls.
