(The Purple Rain Bar in Tijuana, Mexico. A Prince themed strip club from just over the border. Poles and girls without any donkey nonsense set the mood. The place is nearly full. Unfortunately very few of the occupants care about wrestling.)
(Jeffery Drake, Aarya Ranvir, a portly trucker, Ransom and Dan Timberland sit together about four feet from a pole. A “young” lady demonstrates her potential before them. The portly trucker is entranced.)
(Drake is on his cellphone, with a finger in his opposite ear trying to listen. The pounding sounds of “Raspberry Beret” make it hard for him.)
Jeffery Drake: Yeah… yeah… but you didn’t reserve the entire place? … Seriously? I won’t do it. … Then why aren’t you here? It’s called “co-ownership” for a reason … No. No. … No. … These promotional precards used to hold some weight – people used to care… No. … I know…. I know… I suppose. … Yes… Yeah… Yeah… yeah… Still not going to do that. … Okay. … Okay. … Here he is.
(Drake hands the phone to Aarya Ranvir and says something in his ear. Aarya then listens to the other line for a few moments.)
Aarya Ranvir: No problem boss.
(He pushes a button on Drake’s Treo and hands it back to Jeffery. He turns to the camera.)
Aarya Ranvir: It’s Friday. Bienvenidos al Volver precard party people!

(“Knights of Cydonia” from Muse heats up as the opening titles start. Past images of major LWF moments grace the screen. Styx and Mass Carnage delivering a spike piledriver on Nightshade from the LWF first ever card. Banshee and Jamie Williams tied up at a Fall From Grace 3: Heroes. Darren Ridel launching Chris Fox through an announcer’s table at Exit Music. From the LWF v2 re-opening, a Fall From Grace 7: Full Collapse, Tommy Riley beating Kevin Merrix for the AOWF Television Title. A collection of still imagery from past LWF stars: Thunderwolf and his golf club, November and his ego, Ethan Evans and his LWF Titan Title, Synskin battling Don Mega at FNF: Jailbreak, Brandon Nova soaked in blood with his arm raised – and finally some promotional shots of current LWF talent. The Seldons – Vicious – and Silverback with his LWF Intercontinental Championship. A recent image of Vicious beating down Iron Nick Swifkicky. We then break from the montage to a live shot.)
(The action of the opening highlight package contrasts so much with the spot of the four LWF staff members and the portly trucker the feed almost starts to flicker. Almost. We keep the wide shot.)
Dan Timberland: Well quite an interesting night ahead, to say the least – wouldn’t you Ransom?
(Ransom is fixated on the upside-down “young” lady in front of him.)
Ransom: It’s going to get more and more interesting if they take any longer to bring me change from my hundred.
Dan Timberland: You’re a married father.
Ransom: And as an experienced man in those fields, my fatherly instinct tells me this poor chica is probably trying to get through law school, and they’re no way it’s going to happen unless I give her very small loans over and over again throughout the course of the night.
Dan Timberland: Very ethical.
(A waitress stops by with about twenty shots of jager.)
Waitress: The gentlemen in the corner said these were for a Mr. Ranvir?
Aarya Ranvir: Oooh. Bring it on!
(He’s already a little tipsy. The camera pans over to Vicious and Dead End sitting in the corner of the bar, they raise up their glasses towards the crew.)
Dan Timberland: A generous offer from our most vocal talent and his IWL friend.
Jeffery Drake: No. They’re well aware that I’m handling the bill for this evening – and they better not think I didn’t notice them buying round after round for that birthday get-together on the other side of the bar.
(Ranvir takes a quick shot and passes one to the portly trucker. The portly trucker downs in without thanks or removing his stalker-ish glance from the “young” girl before him.)
Aarya Ranvir: Whooo!
Dan Timberland: Well, why don’t we take a break and check in with the Knight brother and Dead End afterwards?
(Ranvir takes another shot.)
