(Rosarito, Mexico – Hotel Calafia.  The large beach patio behind the mission-style hotel has been set up with seats and a ring.  The Pacific is only a hundred yards to the right.  Patches of the seats are filled in – with apparently more on the way.  Ticket prices were somewhere around zero and nada for the event.)

(Jeffery Drake and Shawn Twilight, the co-owners of Liberty Wrestling, sit in the second row facing the ring.  Shawn Twilight is joined by his wife Sidney and their two daughters – one newborn.  Jeffery isn’t joined by anyone.)

Shawn Twilight:  Hola mis amigos – bienvenido al Rosarito, Mexico.

Jeffery Drake:  Yep.

Shawn Twilight
:  Home of beautiful beaches, our favorite ocean and for this one night only, Liberty Wrestling’s return to pay-per-view.

Jeffery Drake:  Yippee.

Shawn Twilight:  And while my co-exec here may be less than optimistic already knowing what he knows – we hope you enjoy your purchase this evening.

Jeffery Drake:  No refunds.

Shawn Twilight:  Ladies and Gentlemen – this is Liberty Wrestling – this is 2007 - this is Volver!

(“Knights of Cydonia” from Muse heats up as the opening titles start.  Past images of major LWF moments grace the screen.  Styx and Mass Carnage delivering a spike piledriver on Nightshade from the LWF first ever card.  Darren Ridel launching Chris Fox through an announcer’s table at Fall From Grace: Exit Music.  From the LWF v2 re-opening, a Fall From Grace 7: Full Collapse, Tommy Riley beating Kevin Merrix for the AOWF Television Title.  A collection of still imagery from past LWF stars:  Thunderwolf and his golf club, November and his ego, Ethan Evans and his LWF Titan Title, Synskin battling Don Mega at FNF: Jailbreak, Brandon Nova soaked in blood with his arm raised, Dead End and Aarya Ranvir at the Purple Rain Bar in Tijuana – and finally some promotional shots of current LWF talent.  The Seldons – Vicious – and Silverback.  We then break from the montage back to a live shot.)

(Dan Timberland and Ransom sit ringside with the feet at their toes.  Behind them the ocean breaks.)

Dan Timberland:  Hey fans – welcome to our true return – this is Volver!

Ransom:  It’s “Volver”.

(He over annunciates the trill of the ‘r’.)

Dan Timberland:  Volver?

(Timberland fails in his attempt to duplicate.)

Ransom:  Ugh.  It’s going to be a long night gringo.

Dan Timberland:  But a fun night none the less – I’m sure you would agree.  We have three titles matches!

Ransom:  And only five people on our active roster – so that should be interesting.

Dan Timberland:  LWF Talent Development and Lead Recruiter, Aarya Ranvir has promised us the return of two very influential Liberty superstars and our own Iron Nick Swifkicky hosts his own open invitational.  Stay tuned!

Ransom:  Why wouldn’t they?  This is pay-per-view.

VOLVER CONTINUES
