Backstory bores all of those that weren’t a part of it. I encourage you to read, but Iimagine if you’re viewing this page, you will be scrolling immediately down to the title history tables. Bite me.
The original Liberty Wrestling Federation was run by an inept man, in capable of taking criticism or accepting help from others – which lead to frustration and a near immediate closure of the Federation. This inept owner went back to his daily life of being an agent to such overrated talents as Misery, Shawn Twilight, Jeffery Drake, Joshua Roe and the Beatles (a poorly named pop-band not associated with those from the UK).
Fall From Grace: Heroes saw Shawn Twilight fall to Kevin Merrix. Shawn Twilight was known for being the beginning of Forever and Merrix for being a pussy. Shawn retired to Hilo, Hawaii with wife Sidney and daughter Nicole. A year after the passing away of his mentor Matthew Lee, Misery - Twilight has found a desire to come back to the wrestling world and purchased the rights to the old Liberty Wrestling Federation. Apparently the years of being beaten up by Styx and Flesh didn’t help his intellect much. The LWF respawned at the seventh Fall From Grace, which happened in mid March of 2003 in Paris. No one showed up.
But ticket prices dropped, and fans came in mass upon the return to America. Twilight had turned his company around. Until November, Kyle Lee, introduced his new family (Marcus Collins, Frost, Gabrielle) and named them the Fatal Charms. Don Mega kidnapped Ransom in an episode of Friday Night Fiction and November eventually took the LWF World Heavyweight Champion. So Twilight had to make some changes. He forced title changes and brought in new and old talents, such as: Marcus Collins, Thunderwolf, Brandon Nova, Tommy Riley, Synskin, Ray Stanford, Protean, Don Mega, Silverback and six or seven of the Moran Brothers. Matt Attict was not invited back; his tint blinded our talent agents.
Things went well for the LWF for months on end. Specialty cards like the Night of Forty-Seven Chairs, Jupiter Jazz Part 2 and the LWF’s Misery helped bridge gaps and bring a tired community back together.
Then Shawn Twilight got bored (or upset if you want to read into it), closed the fed without honoring the contracts of the talent and didn’t even bother to notify the executives of the community. He’s a dick. Jeffery Drake and Ransom came back years later to honor the debts and make back the eight hundred thousand dollars owed through entertainment. Drake was then promptly beat by a 130 pound anorexic chick who spends all her time in the forest talking to witches – she apparently has the ability to reverse a Fisherman’s Suplex by someone twice her weight and with twice the experience in a blink of an eye (literally). Drake being a bitter man and quite embarrassed - found a better way to pay off his debt – dusting off the cobwebs and reinstating the LWF. With a desperate need for new talent – he starts his journey with Shawn Twilight helping him out from where he originally left off. Story of his life.
This is the third version of the LWF. And it better be the last.
