(We fade back in on our announce team.)
Dan Timberland: A serious note before our main event tonight, the fiancée of Liberty Wrestling stand-out star Trevor Knight, Sarah Sloan passed away this week.
(He pauses for a moment and looks down at his notes.)
Dan Timberland: It has since been learned that she was pregnant in her first trimester. Our prayers are with her family and her husband-to-be.
(A moment of silence.)
(The lights fade back up on Joel Cronus in the ring.)
Joel Cronus: And now comes our main event – which is for the Liberty Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Championship!
(The lights dim.)
Joel Cronus: Introducing first, the challenger.
(Jack off Jill with “Fear of Dying” start up over the public address. The lights morph to a red haze.)
Joel Cronus: From right here in Albuquerque, New Mexico…
(“SiD” illuminates the video screen, the Self-Inflicted Drama logo, before it cuts to a montage of Lisa Seldon clips. Seldon emerges from backstage with black sneakers, black baggy jeans with pink star accents and a white shirt with her white silhouette logo and pink lettering. She’s met with a very loud positive reaction from her hometown crowd.)
Joel Cronus: The Picture of Perfection… LISA SELDON!
(She climbs to the top rope and raises her fist to a reaction from the crowd. She moonsaults to the canvas, which elicits a larger reaction. The red haze from the lights lifts away.)
Joel Cronus: And her opponent…
(“Tomorrow” from SR-71 kicks up.)
Joel Cronus: From Chicago, Illinois – at two hundred and forty pounds…
(Nightstryker emerges with the Liberty Wrestling World Heavyweight. He’s focused on his challenger in the ring.)
Joel Cronus: The Liberty Wrestling Federation’s World Heavyweight Champion – NIGHTSTRKER!
(He’s under the bottom rope and we get a bell.)
*DING, DING*
Dan Timberland: This is going to be good.
Ransom: We’ll see.
(Seldon and Nightstryker square off with a neck and collar tie up. Nightstryker gets in a couple hard right hands and then whips her into the corner.)
Dan Timberland: The champion with a strength and weight advantage here. We’re going to see two very different styles clashing tonight.
Ransom: Just like your outfit. Seriously, would a little Project Runway kill you?
(He charges in after her, Seldon dodges and Knight is stuck in the corner. Lisa flips him around and delivers a few chops. She the drop toe holds him into out of the corner.)
Dan Timberland: Seldon with a quick reversal there. Knight’s head looked like it bounced off the canvas.
(Seldon pulls him off and throws him to the ropes. Knight greets her in the middle where she was looking for a back body drop but she kicks him in the face.)
Ransom: Nightstryker reminds me a lot of Bush.
Dan Timberland: How’s that?
Ransom: Everyone knows his reign is doomed, but no wants to just shoot him in the face. They want to torture him a little first.
(Knight quickly back to his feet and then taken back down with a hip drop.)
Dan Timberland: Seldon using Knight’s momentum against him.
(Seldon tosses him to the corner again, but Knight reverses. He runs at her again looking to spear her against the turnbuckles, but Seldon greets him with a boot to the face.)
Dan Timberland: And again the challenger counters one of Nightstryker’s maneuvers.
Ransom: She managed to beat his tag team just over a week ago… with a great deal of help from the perfect hero, Jeffery Drake.
Dan Timberland: She did pin November – not Stryker who gave Drake a run for his money.
(Nightstryker retakes the advantage with a snake eyes.)
Dan Timberland: The champion looking to take back an advantage by any means necessary.
(He hooks her around the neck and suplexes her to the canvas.)
Dan Timberland: And there’s that power advantage we talked about earlier.
Ransom: You know, what’s with all the women in our federation?
Dan Timberland: What do you mean? Seldon’s proved herself in the past – Frost and Taminson as well. Ryan Fo-
Ransom: Don’t you dare finish that line.
(He picks her up to her feet and chokes at her neck. He complies to a call for a break.)
Dan Timberland: Knight breaking his choke. He’s looking to wear her down.
(A boot to midsection staggers Seldon and a powerbomb flattens her to the mat. He covers.)

(She kicks out and rolls to the outside.)
Dan Timberland: She got her shoulder up and now is trying to re-compose outside the ring.
(She composes herself and Stryker rolls out. He attempts to kick her in the gut, but she catches his foot and takes him down hard with a spinning heel kick.)
Ransom: They better stay away from our table. What is it with main events and people thinking where I sit is their personal playpen?
Dan Timberland: Seldon looking to stay on the attack here.
(She lifts up Knight and throws him into the ringsteps. He takes the blow hard with his shoulder.)
Dan Timberland: You could hear that crack from anywhere in the arena! Nightstryker is hurt!
(Seldon pulls Stryker to his feet and rolls him into the ring.)
Dan Timberland: That may just be enough. What’ll she do here?
Ransom: Something, I imagine.
(She moonsaults off the top rope and stays on for a cover.)

Dan Timberland: NO! He kicks out!
(Lisa argues the count briefly. Knight is clutching his stomach and shoulder.)
Ransom: He’s in trouble out there.
Dan Timberland: There any truth behind the Charms endorsing Self-Inflicted Drama just like they endorsed Thunderwolf.
Ransom: Admittedly the latter was a dumb mistake. I blame it on Roe’s negative influence.
Dan Timberland: Who?
Ransom: Exactly.
(Lisa bounces off the top rope and baseball slides into the fallen champion.)
Dan Timberland: Seldon looking to continue up the attack on that hurt shoulder area. A couple well-placed submission holds and she could walk away with the title.
(She brings him to his knees and drops a couple elbows on him. Seldon adds some stomps for emphasis.)
Ransom: If you’d have done your research, you’d know she’s not a submission wrestler.
Dan Timberland: Wait, you’re accusing me of not doing research?
(A springboard into another moonsault pin for Seldon, she hooks a leg and tries to focus her weight on his shoulders.)

Dan Timberland: Stryker just held onto that title for a bit longer by getting his foot on the bottom rope.
(Standing dropkick from Seldon is pushed off by Stryker and both are down.)
Dan Timberland: The champion with a desperation counter there.
Ransom: This entire match is a desperation counter to decent programming.
(Seldon is first to her feet and drops a couple of frustrated elbows on her opponent. She then drives a knee into the injured shoulder section of Nightstryker.)
Dan Timberland: Keeping up the attack on that injured joint.
(Arm grapevine from Seldon on Knight.)
Dan Timberland: Well what do you know – a submission maneuver. Who’s the research king now?
Ransom: Drown in a lake.
Dan Timberland: Wasn’t “Drown” your old tag partner?
Ransom: That was Despair – “Drown” was another situation altogether.
(Knight reaches the ropes and gets a break. He escapes under the ropes this time to compose himself.)
Dan Timberland: Now our champion is the one heading to the outside trying to get back his breath. He needs to rethink his game plan here.
(Seldon looks to his a plancha on the outside, but Nightstryker dodges.)
Dan Timberland: High-risk move does NOT payoff for Seldon. Stryker has that opportunity he needs to get things headed back in his direction.
Ransom: Meh. He’ll be a let down just like Night of Armageddon. Minus my segments of course.
Dan Timberland: I thought the IWL guys did a good job that night.
Ransom: Or course they did – they knew their pink slip was coming. They were auditioning for spots on our Tuesday Night Truth team.
Dan Timberland: That’s hardly a fair comment.
(He rolls her back in. Stryker is the first to his feet and waits for Seldon to come to her own.)
Dan Timberland: Our World Heavyweight Champion… waiting for his shot…
(As she gets up he takes her down with a vicious lariat. He picks her up and slams her down with a side suplex.)
Dan Timberland: He slams her down hard. He’s got that second wind he needed.
(He lifts her up again and tosses her to the ropes. On her rebound he bulldogs her to the mat.)
Ransom: Not too impressive, he’s got a bill and a half on her.
Dan Timberland: Stryker trying to wear down Seldon’s head.
(The Champion lifts her up looking for his patented sit down piledriver. Seldon counters with a scissor kick and then executes a step up enziguiri. Blood starts to trickle from his temple.)
Dan Timberland: He was going for that Mindbender – but Seldon countered with the Twisted Vanity! Knight’s in trouble!
Ransom: Yeah he is!
(Nightstryker staggers back and Seldon quickly ascends to the top rope. Seldon hits Knight with a springboard corkscrew missle dropkick.)
Dan Timberland: That’s the Picture of Perfection – right on that injured shoulder – our champ is in trouble!
(She throws an arm over him.)

*DING, DING*
Dan Timberland: It’s been years since we’ve had the opportunity to say this – but Liberty Wrestling has a NEW Heavyweight Champion!
(Seldon is exhausted in the corner. She’s handed the title as Nightstryker still clutches at his shoulder.)
Joel Cronus: Your winner and NEW LIBERTY WRESTLING FEDERATION CHAMPION – the Picture of Perfection – LISA SELDON!
Dan Timberland: It all came down to that Irish Whip into the ringsteps early in the match up – sometimes those risky moves pay off.
(The Albuquerque crowd is ecstatic as their hometown girl ended up the winner. And Nightstryker rolls under the ropes.)
Ransom: Not the most perfect champion – but pretty damn near close to it. I feel like we finally accomplished something here tonight.
(Stryker grabs a white bat and rolls back into the ring. He swings wildly at Lisa Seldon and misses. He drops the bat and clutches at his shoulder. She takes the belt and rolls to the outside.)
Dan Timberland: He’s lost it! Stryker looked to take her head off – I don’t know if it’s the blood running down his face or his separated shoulder. Oh no!
(Referee Swifkicky falls victim to a gut shot from the bat and then Nightstryker knocks him to the canvas. Seldon watches on as she backs down the aisleway.)
Ransom: That’s what a losing streak will do to you.
Dan Timberland: Quite a bit of action to say the least, for my partner Ransom, our ring announcer Joel Cronus – I’m Dan Timberland – and this was
all Fiction! G’night!
(We fade out to a copyright notice and a picture of our exhausted new champion, Lisa Seldon and the LWF World Heavyweight Championship belt.)
