Ransom: I’m amazed he stretched that as long as he did. Nothing of note has happened so far in this iteration of Liberty Wrestling.
Dan Timberland: I believe your line is – Welcome to Friday Night Fiction!
Ransom: I took some improv classes in my youth, I don’t need to read any scripts.
Dan Timberland: They had improv classes in the thirties?
(Joel Cronus interrupts them in the ring.)
Joel Cronus: Our first match of the evening centers around two men looking for their first victory in Liberty Wrestling – one making his debut, the other … not so much.
(“Ain’t Cha” from the Clipse replaces the Liberty Wrestling theme and the lights dim. The bass energizes the crowd.)
Joel Cronus: Introducing first, from Brooklyn – newly signed to Liberty Wrestling – FFGY – Freddy FLASH!
(A spotlight illuminates just outside the backstage entrance as FFGY emerges. He bounces in beat to the music, high-fiving some fans on the way to ringside, crawls under the bottom rope and climbs the turnbuckle. He receives a favorable reaction from the fans.)
Joel Cronus: And his opponent…
(FFGY sits in his corner. “Ain’t Cha” drowns out and the Dropkick Murphys with “Shipping up to Boston” brings in some celtic charm.)
Joel Cronus: Weighing in at 210 pounds, from Boston, Mass – IRON NICK SWIFKICKY!
(Swifkicky and the Slutkickys make their way down to ringside. He looks hesitant as he climbs through the ropes. FFGY propels himself to his feet.)
*DING, DING*
Dan Timberland: We’re getting our first in ring look at FFGY here.
Ransom: Freddy Flash Gets Yeyo – finally a guy I can relate to.
(Swifkicky charges towards FFGY, who dodges. Nick rebounds off the ropes and is taken straight down with a clothesline.)
Dan Timberland: Relate to?
Ransom: Absolutely.
(Freddy Flash pulls him up by his short red hair and throws him into the corner. He lands a couple of solid shots to the midsection before Referee Dick Swifkicky pulls him away from his son.)
Dan Timberland: Meaning his in-ring style? From what I’ve seen so far here, and heard about in the back – you’re not going to see a lot of technical wrestling from Freddy Flash.
(FFGY complies to the referee’s request to stop the closed fist assault on Iron Nick, but quickly charges in and flattens Nick to the corner with a roaring elbow.)
Ransom: I mean, I’m just like everything about him. I used to be a brawler not so long ago – I roughed up my fair share of rooks and nobodies.
Dan Timberland: Okay. You’re old. You’re white. You probably don’t understand one word from his entrance track and you couldn’t bat away a moth if it was causing you trouble.
Ransom: Says you.
Dan Timberland: Ahh… the Deuce Jackson defense… we’ll see how far that gets you in life.
(FFGY takes a few steps back from his opponent, and then charges in with another roaring elbow, dropping Nick to the canvas in the corner.)
Dan Timberland: The newcomer not having much trouble with Iron Nick Swifkicky here in his debut. It looks like Nick’s eye is already turning a shade of pink.
(Freddy waits while referee Dick checks to the lifelessness of Iron Nick. Nick slowly struggles to his feet.)
Ransom: I think Iron Nick may be trying to sum up that second wind he’s been waiting on for the last eight years of his career.
(Swifkicky runs at FFGY again and lands a forearm. Freddy is slightly staggered and Nick bounds back and hits another. Freddy loses a couple more steps balance.)
Dan Timberland: He connects with one more of those and he may just take him down.
Ransom: And then he’d be set up for the Iron Swifkicky Grasp! The submission NO ONE escapes from.
(Swifkicky charges in again. FFGY catches him on this attempt and flips him over hard with a side suplex.)
Dan Timberland: Can’t say that I’m surprised with that outcome. Just wondering though, what exactly is the Iron Swifkicky Grasp supposed to be?
(FFGY pulls up Swifkicky again and lands a quick combination of punches that sends him right back down to the mat.)
Ransom: It’s a modified Cobra Clutch.
Dan Timberland: I’ve seen plenty of people escape a Cobra Clutch… how can he claim that “no one” escapes from it?
(Freddy drops a couple elbows to the prone Swifkicky.)
Ransom: Mainly because it’s untested.
(Flash lifts up Iron Nick Swifkicky high into the air. The fans applaud at the show of strength. He continues to delay.)
Ransom: And I got a feeling that it’s going to continue to go untested after tonight’s match ends.
(FFGY slams him down violently with a short running powerbomb. Swifkicky bounces off the canvas and rolls to the corner reaching at his shoulder blades.)
Dan Timberland: The crowd is certainly behind the newcomer as he’s getting the opportunity to show off his entire move set tonight in this primer match for tonight’s big event – Seldon versus Knight for the AOWF Television Championship.
(Freddy waits for Swifkicky who’s dazed as he uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet. Nick eventually does and Dick checks to see if he’s still into it.)
Ransom: Stop your promo for a second… here comes my new favorite move in all of Liberty Wrestling…
Dan Timberland: ‘cause you relate to him so well?
Ransom: You’ll see.
(FFGY charges at Swifkicky with a short violent sprint and lunges at his with a high shoulder. It connects and flips Nick back onto his face as he falls flat.)
Ransom: Planet of the BAPES!
Dan Timberland: I know Ranvir was desperate but…
(Flash rolls Swifkicky over and covers for the pin. It’s academic.)

*DING, DING*
Ransom: You gotta love that!
(“Ain’t Cha” from Clipse ramps up.)
Joel Cronus: The winner of this match – via pinfall – FFGY – FREDDY FLASH!
(His arm’s raised by Referee Dick Swifkicky briefly, but then dropped as he and the Slutkickys attend to Iron Nick. FFGY receive another good reaction from the crowd.)
Dan Timberland: That was impressive to say the least… FFGY wins convincingly here in his Liberty Wrestling debut.
Ransom: My brother.
Dan Timberland: I think he’d rip you in two if he heard you say that.
Ransom: Says you.
Dan Timberland: Again with the Deuce Jackson defense?
(They fade out to an ad break.)
